I AM GETTING MY SOAP BOX OUT JUST TO WARN YOU.
The Kentucky National Guard sent the 201st to Wisconsin for training before they are to be deployed to Afghanistan for at least a year. Well here is the problem, the KNG DOESNT HAVE THE FUNDS to pay to have the men come home before deployment. The men have leave so they are allowed to come home but they KNG can’t pay for it. The second problem is the families have to raise $60,000 by April 15th.
I AM BEGGING YOU MY FRIENDS TO HELP.
$130.00 Donation brings one Guardsman home. So if we pool our money we should be able to bring at least one home.
Because of the short time span to raise this money only checks and money orders are being excepted.
MAKE SURE YOU PUT “Family and Friends of 201st En. Bn.” IN THE MEMO LINE.
IF WE ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO RAISE MORE THAN $60,000 THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TROOPS.
